Anzac Day, observed on April 25th, commemorates the landing of Australian and New Zealand forces at Gallipoli in 1915 during World War 1. It honours all service men and women from both countries who have served in conflicts and peacekeeping missions. The day is marked by dawn services, marches and ceremonies, reflecting on the sacrifices and contributions of the ANZACS.
